What size water softener do I need?
|
The clothes washer is the appliance that uses the most
water. It fills at a rate of 6 gallons per minute. |
|
A two and 1/2 cubic foot water softener (80,000 grains) will
effectively soften 7.5 gallons per minute and works 'on demand'. |
|
A three cubic foot water
softener (100,000 grains) will effectively soften 9 gallons per minute
and works 'on demand'. |
|
90% of the water softeners sold and installed by other
companies will be only one cubic foot (32,000 grains) or less. |
What about plumbing? Is there an extra cost?
|
We provide a pre-plumbing inspection at each installation site whether
you are considering renting or purchasing a unit to
provide you with accurate information (no surprises later). |
|
Homes that are pre-plumbed may be eligible for $75.00 installation fee. |
